United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Health Care Without Harm (HCWH) officially launched the new Sustainable Health in Procurement Project (SHiPP) Inception Workshop Report.
 
Funded by the Swedish International Development Agency (Sida), SHiPP aims to reduce the harm to people and the environment caused by the manufacture, use and disposal of medical products and by the implementation of health programs.

The project was launched with a three-day orientation, planning and inception workshop that took place on 17th-19thApril, in Istanbul, Turkey. The workshop brought together more than 60 participants including representatives of the governments of the project countries, UN agencies, civil society and technical experts from across the globe.
