August 7, 2017

The Strategy defines the relationship between different levels of government and is intended to coordinate the efforts of all stakeholders to manage changes in all spheres of public life. The Government’s new decentralization policy creates new opportunities for local communities to attract additional funding and implement regional development projects, which should become ‘a start point for further growth’. The Strategy is intended to facilitate fulfilment of the region’s economic potential , improve the productivity of the region’s economy, and increase the profitability of local businesses and income levels. It is based on the principles of sustainable development, taking into account the interests of the population, business and authorities (regional and local). Implementation of the Strategy will ensure social and economic stability in the region.
