  • Procurement Support Services to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine

    The challenges and failures of the Ministry of Health’s public procurement and supply programme resulted in a two-year gap of available medicine in the country from 2013-2015. At the request of the Ministry of Health, this project will procure a range of medicines and related medical products as an emergency measure in 2015 and ongoing years as needed. The programme will also build the capacity needed to support a transparent and cost-effective procurement system for the Ministry.

  • Mainstreaming Policies and Services for People with Disabilities in Ukraine

    The Programme will support establishment of the Universal Design HUB to consolidate available international and national expertise on universal design and bring best international accessibility standards and approaches into various spheres of life: infrastructure, transport, construction, education, healthcare, and recreation.

  • Enhanced Public Sector Transparency and Integrity

    The Project contributes to establishment of a strong and comprehensive corruption prevention ecosystem in the country. Its goal is to put into practice key preventive anti-corruption instruments: an effective asset declaration system for public officials, regulations that prevent and help manage conflict of interest, as well as tools for corruption-risk analysis.

  • Civil Society for Enhanced Democracy and Human Rights in Ukraine

    The project aims to enhance the institutional capacity of civil society actors in the regions of Ukraine to have a stronger impact on the reform processes in the country in the areas of democracy and human rights and to contribute to more inclusive, democratic and rights-based governance through enhanced capacity, better coordination and networking.

  • Rada for Europe: driving reforms across Ukraine

    This EU/UNDP project focuses on strengthening the capacity of the Verkhovna Rada to produce quality legislation and monitor its implementation, notably in the framework of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement, and to serve as a model and driving force for the reforms across Ukraine.

  • The overall objective of the project is to support the Government of Ukraine and the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine in accelerating the implementation of the reforms in the social sector and achieving Ukraine’s short- and mid-term social and economic development goals.

  • The Project objective is to accelerate the development of the SME sector in Ukraine by strengthening the capacities of the BMOs, thus enabling more effective operation and the sustainability of these organizations in the medium to long term, better services to their members (SMEs) and reinforcement of public-private dialogue. The Project is implemented by UNDP in cooperation with the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine and with the financial support of the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs of Switzerland (SECO).

  • Strengthening the National TB and HIV Council in Ukraine

    The main goal of the project is to strengthen the capacity of the National Council on TB and HIV/AIDS (NTHC) response in implementation of functions of the Country Coordination Mechanism in line with the requirements and recommendations of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria, specifically – implementation of the oversight function, involvement of all stakeholders to its activities, facilitation of consistency in the goals of the National Programs on TB and HIV/AIDS response and the Global Fund grants.

  • Strengthening Capacities of the Office of the Ombudsperson

    The Project aims at strengthening capacities of the Ombudsperson’s Office to contribute to reform agendas, implement its mandates and respond to human rights challenges in Ukraine, while mobilizing national authorities and human rights defenders to improve the overall human rights record of the country.

  • Sustainable Local Development in Rural Areas of Chernivtsi and Odesa Oblasts

    The project is expected to improve the wellbeing of the most disadvantaged population groups in two oblasts of Ukraine (Chernivtsi and Odesa), and to raise their living standards. It does so by promoting sustainable and inclusive socio-economic development at the local level, strengthening participatory local governance and encouraging community-based initiatives.
