  • Procurement Support Services to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine

    The challenges and failures of the Ministry of Health’s public procurement and supply programme resulted in a two-year gap of available medicine in the country from 2013-2015. At the request of the Ministry of Health, this project will procure a range of medicines and related medical products as an emergency measure in 2015 and ongoing years as needed. The programme will also build the capacity needed to support a transparent and cost-effective procurement system for the Ministry.

  • Strengthening small and medium enterprises business membership organizations Project

    The Project objective is to accelerate the development of the SME sector in Ukraine by strengthening the capacities of the BMOs, thus enabling more effective operation and the sustainability of these organizations in the medium to long term, better services to their members (SMEs) and reinforcement of public-private dialogue. The Project is implemented by UNDP in cooperation with the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine and with the financial support of the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs of Switzerland (SECO).

  • Support to the Social Sector Reform in Ukraine

    The overall objective of the project is to support the Government of Ukraine and the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine in accelerating the implementation of the reforms in the social sector and achieving Ukraine’s short- and mid-term social and economic development goals.

  • Strengthening National Capacity for Effective Youth Development and HIV/AIDS Response in Ukraine

    The objective of the Project is to strengthen national capacity for effective youth development and HIV/AIDS response and to accelerate health related MDGs. The project focuses on youth development through promoting innovative models of youth employment. Ukraine’s 6.25 million young people aged 15-24 are the next generation of economic and social actors. It is crucial that they are well prepared for their future integration in the country’s labour market and economic activities.

  • The overall objective of the Project is to strengthen the coping mechanisms for improving livelihoods of IDPs in their new locations and, where appropriate, to support reintegration into their home locations.

  • The project aims to stimulate the creation of small and medium enterprises and growth of micro entrepreneurship in Chernobyl affected areas by strengthening the local business support through provision of comprehensive information services, knowledge transfer and skills development.

  • The main goal of the project is to strengthen the capacity of the National Council on TB and HIV/AIDS (NTHC) response in implementation of functions of the Country Coordination Mechanism in line with the requirements and recommendations of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria, specifically – implementation of the oversight function, involvement of all stakeholders to its activities, facilitation of consistency in the goals of the National Programs on TB and HIV/AIDS response and the Global Fund grants.

  • Mainstreaming Policies and Services for People with Disabilities in Ukraine

    The overall objective of the project is to support the Government of Ukraine and the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine in accelerating the implementation of the reforms in the social sector and achieving Ukraine’s short- and mid-term social and economic development goals.
