Jun 15, 2016

Kyiv, 10 June 2016 – The National Agency on Corruption Prevention approved the format for electronic asset declarations and set 15 August this year as the deadline for the full-fledged system launch.

In addition to vouching the e-declaration template, the Agency agreed on the algorithm that shall underlie operations of the Unified State Register of e-Asset Declarations, including data intake, processing and publication. Relevant regulatory documents will shortly be shipped to the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine for registration.

I would like to extend my gratitude to our partners – including UNDP and World Bank, as well as to all NACP staff for their hard work. Today is a truly remarkable day in history,” noted Ruslan Radetskyi, NACP member delegated to be the focal point for the launch of the e-asset declaration system.

Ivan Presniakov, Head of UNDP’s Enhanced Public Sector Transparency and Integrity Project, echoed the importance of these developments. He noted, inter alia: “the fact that UNDP expert findings and assistance were taken in as foundations for the finalized electronic asset declaration template is a very welcome development. Now that the template is there, we can collaborate on launching an awareness-raising campaign to train public officials in due submission of information through the approved tool.”
