The Government of Japan provides USD 13.64 million to support people and communities affected by the conflict in Eastern Ukraine

In 2016, the Government of Japan, the Government of Ukraine, the United Nations in Ukraine, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) will undertake joint efforts to provide life-saving humanitarian aid, and more medium to long-term recovery assistance to people living in conflict-affected areas in eastern Ukraine. Nine projects are funded by the Government of Japan totalling USD 13.64 million.
