Community Development Associate in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, UNDP Ukraine

Lesia joined the UNDP in Ukraine team in 2007. She worked in the municipal support department of the United Nations Development Programme / Municipal Governance and Sustainable Development Programme in Ivano-Frankivsk. Before that, from 2005 to 2008, she worked for the public organization "Centre for Municipal and Regional Development – Resource Centre" first as a volunteer, and later as a manager.

In 2008 she joined the team of the EU/UNDP project "Community-Based Local Development" as a regional coordinator in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast. Thanks to the joint efforts of the authorities, the community, and UNDP, more than 200 micro-projects aimed at improving the social infrastructure in Prykarpattia have been implemented.

Since October 2018, she has been mobilizing owners of buildings with multiple flats in the "Home-Owners of Ukraine for Sustainable Energy Solutions (HOUSES)” project. Due to Lesia’s support, more than 250 HOAs received training sessions and consulting.

Since 2021 she has been working as a regional coordinator in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast for the UNDP’s "Local Socio-Economic Recovery (LSER) " project.

Lesia graduated from the Halytska Academy Institute of Management and Economics with a degree in management of organizations (Manager economist). She is married and has a daughter.
