Team Leader of the “Home Owners of Ukraine for Sustainable Energy Solutions (HOUSES)” project, UNDP Ukraine

Svitlana joined UNDP in February 2019 as Team Leader of the EU/UNDP “Home Owners of Ukraine for Sustainable Energy Solutions (HOUSES)” project. She is responsible for the implementation of the “HOUSES” project in all 24 regions of Ukraine.

Svitlana has over 20 years of professional experience working on technical assistance projects implemented with the financial support of the EU and the World Bank. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®), with over 17 years of experience in project management. Svitlana’s expertise includes public sector reforms, regional/local development, energy efficiency, public-private partnerships, and small and medium-sized enterprises. Svitlana also has knowledge and experience in the economic recovery of municipal infrastructure.

Svitlana already had previous experience of working with UNDP when working on the EU/UNDP “Support to the Agency of Regional Development of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea” project, implemented by the Crimean office of UNDP in 2012-2013.

For the past nine years, Svitlana has been involved in a series of projects in the area of Energy Efficiency, including the EU INOGATE Programme, which covered 11 partner countries (Belarus, Moldova, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan).

Svitlana holds a M.A. Degree in Foreign Philology from Taras Shevchenko State University, and a degree in Economics.
