Looking back on 2020, with 2030 vision, we see that it was a challenging year for everyone – but for some, more than others. The coronavirus pandemic, and the lockdown measures to keep people safe, were felt around the world as economies crumbled and people suffered.

UNDP’s response to the COVID-19 crisis in Ukraine and its support to the Government’s pandemic priorities formed an important element of its activities in 2020. However, work also continued unabated, and indeed with a renewed sense of urgency, on the organization’s three main portfolios: Inclusive Development, Recovery and Peacebuilding; Democratic Governance; Energy and the Environment.
