In eastern Ukraine UNDP is proactively supporting peacebuilding and conflict prevention by facilitating improved service delivery, decentralization, economic recovery, rebuilding and reduction of inequality and by strengthening the rule of law and building respect for human rights. 

This report presents the findings of a survey conducted in 2018 to examine citizens’ knowledge of, attitudes toward and experiences with justice and security issues.

It was carried out under UNDP’s comprehensive Recovery and Peacebuilding Programme (RPP), with a particular geographic focus on conflictaffected areas in Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts, as well as in the control region of Zhytomyr.
