Regional Report "Sustainable Development Goals: Dnipro-2030"

May 2, 2018

Sustainable Development is a global imperative and the application of its principles is particularly relevant for Ukraine in the context of the economic, social and environmental challenges that the country faces. The decentralization reform in Ukraine led to the necessity to specify the ways on how to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), as defined in the National Report "Sustainable Development Goals: Ukraine", at the regional level.

Initiated by the Dnipropetrovsk region, the results of the discussion on the adapted targets and indicators for their monitoring were finalized in the form of the Regional Report "Sustainable Development Goals: Dnipro-2030", which provides the baseline for sustainable development at the regional level in Ukraine.

The publication was prepared with the support from the Green Economy Programme, which is financed by the German Government and implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, Institute for Social and Economic Research (ISER) and in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme in Ukraine within implementation of UNDP/GIZ Project "Supporting the SDGs Implementation in Ukraine".
