Mapping SDG indicators report

In 2017 Ukraine finished the process of adaptation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030, approved by 193 United Nations Member States at the United Nations Sustainable Development Summit in New York on September 25, 2015. As a result, the “Sustainable Development Goals: Ukraine” national report was prepared and provided the list of targets, adapted for Ukraine, indicators for monitoring them as well as the forecasts up to 2020, 2025, 2030.

The analytical report presents the results of the research of information and statistical basis for the SDGs monitoring as well as the analysis of the current situation to research the possibilities of an effective system of collection, observation and study of statistical and administrative data. In accordance with the country-specific targets and indicators, the analysis of the existing information base of SDG indicators was performed and recommendations for its improvement were made.

The survey was conducted with the support from the Global Environment Facility (GEF) as well as in cooperation with the United Nations Development Programme in Ukraine and under the implementation of the UNDP/GEF project "Integrating Rio Convention Provisions into Ukraine’s National Policy Framework".
